This story kept me up all night until I had finished it even though I was too sleepy. I love angst and since this story is pretty angsty, it was right up my alley but I've gotta tell you, you really will want to smack Edward around in this story. He is a mobster in 1950s and for quite a while he's an absolute douchebag. It's a story from a different time and Edward is just a product of that society. A very well written story with great flawed characters. So, if you enjoy angst then do give it a try.
